One Week and Four Pounds Thinner

I've lost four pounds! Count'em four! I couldn't be happier to show some results, so quickly. Usually on the diets I try it takes a month to lose four pounds. They weren't kidding when they said Phase one of the Atkins diet was a detox off carbs. I had no idea just how many processed carbs I was eating until I had to cut them. This week was tough, I was physically going through withdrawl; headachs, stomach cramps, nausea and mood swings included! I never thought I'd get addicted to something but I guess carbs were it. Too bad there's no way to go cold turkey on carbs. To keep my self in control I'm creating a food diary although I've always hated it when I've had to it for other diets the difference this time will be couting carbs not calories. This week will be better.
